Stone farmhouse in Umbria in a panoramic position overlooking the countryside and the city of Orvieto. The three-level farmhouse offers 300 sqm of living space (of which approx. 150 sqm on the ground floor and first floor), was built in 2016, and features all the characteristics of traditional Umbrian farmhouses. Outside, it is covered in stone, while inside there are wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta tiles, and parquet floors. Unlike ancient farmhouses, the new building – built with modern construction techniques – features large windows overlooking the garden that give the rooms on the ground floor a particular brightness. The privileged position offers not only tranquillity and privacy, but also unforgettable views of the Umbrian countryside and the beautiful city of Orvieto.

Vast spaces and plenty of silence distinguish this wonderful refuge far from the hustle and bustle: The Property "Rosa dei Venti" (Wind Rose) rises on the top of a hill at 380 m above sea level, right at the end of one of the many dirt roads that meander across the splendid Umbrian countryside. It stands like a custodian of a delightful landscape, animated by expanses of fertile fields and green hills, where at the peaks, picturesque ancient villages stand out on the horizon: a suggestive rural painting into which this elegant farmhouse, of recent construction, fits harmoniously. In full respect of the Genius Loci ("Spirit of the Place"), the house is equipped with all modern amenities and comforts and has been fully covered with local light stone. The interiors, enhanced by ceilings with pickle-stained chestnut wood beams, natural terracotta bricks, and warm parquet, are furnished in a dynamic, efficient, and light way, with some touches of Provençal inspiration, and in shades of white and grey, toned down by bright flashes of colour, and with an expert distribution of lights. This design bestows a distillate of charm with simple and refined tones. Thanks to the French windows in the bright living room, the farmhouse expands onto the splendid garden that surrounds it, a succession of lawns dotted with bushes of Mediterranean essences, with elegant and comfortable living areas designed for relaxation in the open air. In the heart of the garden, in an elevated position, there is a scenic infinity pool, the most beautiful point to contemplate the suggestive spectacle of nature from every side.
