Palazzo degli Alemanni has a 700-year history, in fact it stands on the foundations of an ancient church dating back to the 14th century which was demolished in 1730 with the aim of building a larger one in its place. Subsequently, at the end of the 18th century, a period in which countless minor churches were demolished in the area, Palazzo degli Alemanni was erected, a stately villa which still retains much of its original appearance today.
