Villa Battisole will be your window with a view overlooking Lake Trasimeno: here you can live a unique experience in an uncontaminated place, fully enjoying the nature of this very authentic region.
The villa has a breakfast service prepared every morning by the villa staff with local products of the highest quality. Bakery produce will be used directly from the laboratories of the family, owners of the villa. The owners are a family of very important entrepreneurs who have founded an avant-garde company for the production of fine organic oils (winners of many awards) and excellent flours, produced on the farm and processed in the family mill. An oil mill experience is included with a private tour that includes a guided tour and professional tasting of Centumbrie branded organic oils.
At Villa Battisole you can enjoy quality time in a postcard setting, where everything flows slowly and you can experience the passing of the hours just by following the sunlight until enjoying the most evocative sunsets over the lake. Lying by the pool, looking towards Lake Trasimeno, with a glass of local wine, you can free your mind in front of one of the best panoramas in the Umbria region.

Interiors

Villa Battisole is made up of a main building with 5 bedrooms arranged over 2 floors, an outbuilding spread over 3 levels with 3 bedrooms and an annex used as a gym. Detached from the central body there is also a large Cigar Room for moments of pure relaxation while tasting fine liqueurs or for watching a good film or your favorite series.The interiors of the villa are furnished in an eclectic style with modern details. The use of natural materials, such as wood and bamboo, are inspired by the local nature typical of the lake areas. Colors are a recurring element that make the interior atmosphere warm and welcoming. A professional kitchen, equipped with all the latest equipment, also allows culinary preparations by expert chefs or the possibility of organizing cooking classes in the villa.

Exteriors

With a heated swimming pool that overlooks one of the most evocative panoramas of the lake, Villa Battisole offers an outdoor area with a 270-degree view of a very charming lake scenery. The swimming pool measures 6 x 18 m, is 140 cm deep and is open from 29 April to 30 September. The park of the property is spread over various levels and has different areas located all around the structure, where everyone can find his own recreational or relaxation space. A panoramic porch with a large outdoor dining table allows you to eat al fresco, enjoying the pleasant climate of the summer and the spring seasons. A tennis court with synthetic grass, a petanque field and a fully equipped gym complete the offer for sports and fitness lovers. A magnificent panoramic patio with sofa area offers an additional spot of comfort near the villa.

A tasting of traditional products is included in the rental price

Castiglione del Lago, on the Tuscan border, Sant'Arcangelo, with the ancient abbey, Tuoro sul Trasimeno, a medieval town that was the scene of battle between the Carthaginians and the Romans, and San Feliciano, a fishing village, are just some of the villages clinging to the shores of the lake Trasimeno, each with an inviting past and a present to discover. A little further inland, there are other historic centers worthy of a visit, such as the walled village of Panicale, in the Valdichiana, Magione with the Castle of the Knights of Malta (12th century). In Città della Pieve, a silent and characteristic medieval village, there is the narrowest alley in Italy. Birthplace of the painter il Perugino, this municipality houses various works by the artist, from the Madonna and the Child, preserved in the cathedral of Saints Gervasio and Protasio, to the stupendous fresco The Adoration of the Magi, at Palazzo della Corgna, a magnificent stately home. Was fortunate to spend a week in Villa Battisole in May 2024, and it was an exceptional experience. The location is stunning...full on view of lake Trasimeno from the house and the pool, which especially stunning views at sunset. The property is perfectly groomed, and roses were in full bloom during my week there. There are ample places to sit outside, a lovely pool huge umbrellas, a gym, a bar with fireplace, a tennis court and bocce court...
