A private island for exclusive use.\r\nFaro Island, a residence converted from an ancient lighthouse on a private island off the Argentario coast, offers a unique experience immersed in nature. Located 7 miles from the coast, reachable in just 40 minutes by boat from Porto Santo Stefano or Talamone, it is ideal for a getaway from the world.
Interiors
The original structure of the Lighthouse has been renovated leaving the spirit of the place, adding a touch of charm. Guests are welcomed into an elegant living room with a sofa, armchairs, a dining table, a small library with books about lighthouses, a 55'' TV with satellite channels, and a minibar. From here, a spiral staircase leads to the terrace, while in the adjacent rooms, two ensuite double bedrooms have been created with external access and a private area equipped with a parasol and sun loungers. The rooms are equipped with every comfort: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a 42'' smart TV with satellite channels, binoculars, each with private bathroom with a rainfall showerhead, and a courtesy kit.
The fully equipped kitchen is managed by the lighthouse staff and chef. From breakfast to dinner, everything is expertly and professionally curated by the chef: a sensory journey through unique, original, and traditional flavors prepared exclusively with fresh and wholesome products. Fish, meat, and side dishes come from local farms. Generous menus are accompanied by a refined selection of wines. Cocktails are prepared on request throughout the day.
Exteriors
The island covers an area of just 6 hectares, 370 m in length and 250 m in width, and access to it is exclusively private. The island is an invitation to bask in the sun, swing in a hammock while being lulled by the sea breeze or rejuvenate in the tub fed by hot springs from the rock at 38.7 degrees, perfect at sunset or at night, enveloped by a blanket of stars. To ensure maximum comfort and privacy, the lighthouse has been equipped with a helipad that allows helicopter transport exclusively and extremely quickly. The service is available upon request. To reach the island, it is mandatory to purchase a dinghy or helicopter taxi service. In the event of impossibility of reaching the island by dinghy, the transfer must be done by helicopter at the cost indicated by the flight service provider at the time of the request. No refunds are possible because of the weather conditions not permitting sea transportation, when it is accessible by helicopter. Included: Exclusive use of the entire property, including all services and facilities. The island is one of 3 islets within the Tuscan Archipelago. They are located off the Grosseto coast of the Maremma Natural Park and rise abruptly from a seabed about 100 meters deep. The island is about 15 nautical miles (28 km) from Porto Santo Stefano and about 12 (22 km) from Talamone. The silence and calm of the island are the perfect ingredients for practicing yoga or archery, taking your mind off thoughts and stress. The sea is a natural call to be explored, choosing between snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, diving, fishing trips, or dinghy excursions to Giglio Island.
